UPDATE: Starting Monday, October 6, 2025, the Route 6 with service to the airport will resume Monday through Friday, during peak morning and afternoon periods, approximately 7:25 – 9:30 am and 2:25 – 6:00 pm.

Use the links below to help plan travel to or from the airport with Google Maps Transit Directions . On the Google Maps Transit Directions page, you can change “Leave Now” to “Depart at” or “Arrive By” and set your desired arrival/departure date and time:

• Google Maps Transit Directions from the Airport to the Downtown Transit Center.
• Google Maps Transit Directions from the Downtown Transit Center to the Airport.

For airport access during times when the Route 6 is not running, please use the Route 3 or Route 4 and the bus stops on Glacier Highway near Shell Simmons Drive. The map below shows the walking directions between these stops and the airport.

For access from the airport to Downtown Juneau during times when the Route 6 is not running, please wait at the bus stop in front of the NuVision Credit Union. Both the Route 3 and Route 4 provide service to downtown from this stop. The map below shows the walking directions between the airport and this stop.

For access to the Mendenhall Valley area from the airport, please wait for the Route 3 or Route 4 at the stop in front of the Wells Fargo Bank, which is across the street from NuVision Credit Union.
