System Alert: Routes 5 & 6 suspended until further notice.

System Alert — Modified Service: Effective Saturday, September 28, 2024 the Route 8 Valley/Downtown Express will no longer run on Saturday or Sunday. The Route 8 will continue to run Monday through Friday on its normal schedule. On weekends, please use the Route 3 and Route 4 as alternative service in place of the Route 8.

System Alert — Stop Moved: With the re-opening of 10th Street, the Route 1 Douglas has resumed its normal routing. All transfers between the Douglas and Valley buses have returned to the Federal Building bus stop.

Capital Transit resumes service to Willoughby Avenue

The City and Borough of Juneau’s public bus system has resumed service to Willoughby Avenue. Riders can once again access Capital Transit service to the bus stops across from Centennial Hall and at the ANB Hall. The temporary stop across from the State Museum on Whittier Street will be discontinued (see the transit route map here).
