Reduced Service: Routes 5 & 6 suspended until further notice. For airport access, use Routes 3 & 4. Disembark/embark at stops near Wells Fargo or Nuvision Credit Union and follow Shell Simmons Dr. for a 0.4-mile walk to/from the airport. Starting April 21, 2024
UAS Shuttle Notice: The UAS Shuttle is a privately operated service provided by the University of Alaska Southeast for the UAS community, including visitors to campus. Capital Transit provides scheduling information for the UAS Shuttle as a courtesy to members of the UAS community who use Capital Transit bus service. Policies and requirements for riding the UAS Shuttle differ from Capital Transit policies and requirements. No Effect: The Backloop Bridge is OPEN, and all Route 3 and 4 Mendenhall Valley buses have resumed NORMAL ROUTING around "Backloop" on Mendenhall Loop Road. The special LOOP RD/RIVERSIDE service has been suspended. Starting August 26, 2025
